Dr. Ryan Cate is proud to offer care for show animals of all shapes and sizes. Both Riverstone Veterinary Hospital and Grote Veterinary Clinic see a need for veterinary care for show pigs in the Brock and Weatherford area, and offer the services listed below.
Show Pig Services currently provided include:
- Castrations.
- Pee pocket surgery or removal of the preputial diverticulum or "scent gland."
- Pseudorabies/Brucellosis testing.
- Vaccinations.
- Health certificates.
- Feet Trimming.
Dr. Cate also works with many local families to help with show steers, heifers, sheep, and goats as a proud supporter of the youth in Parker County!
